Callaway Golf has two new golf balls heading our way: The HX Diablo (2-piece) and HX Diablo Tour (3-piece). Those balls lead off our latest roundup of new equipment.

Also included are new Exotics irons from Tour Edge; fairway woods from KZG; plus a complete women's set - the Sapphire - by Cobra. Nike has some new shoes for women golfers, too. And there's a new GPS unit from GolfBuddy.

This Week: Arnold Palmer Invitational

The European Tour plays the Open de Andalucia and the LPGA Tour plays the Kia Classic this week, but most eyes will be on Florida for the PGA Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Tiger Woods is back in action in his final pre-Masters tournaments (and The Masters is only two weeks away, by the way). Woods has six wins in this tournament, including one stretch (2000-2003) of four straight victories. And in 2009, this is where Woods first won again in his return to golf following knee surgery.

The stellar field also includes Ernie Els, Rickie Fowler, Jim Furyk, Sergio Garcia, Ryo Ishikawa, Dustin Johnson, Zach Johnson, Hunter Mahan, Matteo Manassero, Graeme McDowell, Phil Mickelson, Edoardo Molinari, Ian Poulter, Vijay Singh, Camilo Villegas and Bubba Watson.

Arnold Palmer's relationship with Bay Hill Club goes back to 1965. Palmer eventually bought the club and brought this tournament to his club in 1979. We have some photos of Arnie's very first visit to Bay Hill in 1965 for an exhibition match against Jack Nicklaus. Check it out to read more about the Palmer/Bay Hill history.

Arnold Palmer's First Visit to Bay Hill

Arnold Palmer and Bay Hill Club and Lodge have a long relationship, one going back more than 45 years. The club is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2011, and Palmer has been associated with the club almost from the start.

Bay Hill opened in 1961, and Arnie's first visit to the course was in 1965. And we have several photos from that very first visit - including one of Arnie with Jack Nicklaus. Palmer was there to play in an exhibition match (with Nicklaus) organized by the Orlando Chamber of Commerce. He decided right then and there that he wanted to buy the club someday, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Today, Palmer is the host of the PGA Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational, played annually at Bay Hill.
